I'M NOT A COMEDIAN... I'M LENNY BRUCE

I’M NOT A COMEDIAN… I’M LENNY BRUCE ran for 125 performances in Los Angeles and nine months Off-Broadway, earning significant media attention, critical acclaim, and rave reviews. Named an LA Times Critic’s Choice, the production explores the life and battles of Lenny Bruce, one of the most groundbreaking and influential comedians of all time. Drawing from Bruce’s many court battles in defense of free speech, the production also incorporates excerpts from his original comedic material and insights from his own writings. These elements are masterfully woven together by creator and star Ronnie Marmo and expertly directed by Tony Award-winning stage, film, and television actor Joe Mantegna.
