Texas-Sized Relief : print exhibition / pop-up / live printing event

Event Summary: Join us for PrintAustin's inaugural Texas-Sized Relief event with live printing, an exhibition of linocut prints from all around the state, fun, and conversation. Dennis McNett of Wolfbat Studios will be there. Event Description: PrintAustin invited 100 Texas artists to participate in the project, providing linoleum blocks and printmaking paper donated by Speedball. Artists carved their blocks and returned editions of original prints to PrintAustin, creating a collection that represents printmakers from across the state. The resulting works will be presented during a one-day Texas-Sized Relief pop-up exhibition and fundraiser at Slugfest Printmaking Workshop & Gallery on October 24, giving the public an opportunity to discover and purchase original prints while supporting PrintAustin’s programming. We will have live printing and Dennis McNett of Wolfbat Studios will be in attendance.
