Cuban Salsa & Rueda de Casino Classes!
About the event
💃🏼🕺🏼 Ready to Try Salsa? How About *CUBAN Salsa*? 🇨🇺
Have you ever wanted to learn Salsa but weren't sure where to start? Maybe you've never danced before, don't have a partner, or simply want to try something completely new. Wednesday, October 7th is your chance! 🎉
We're starting a brand-new four-week Absolute Beginner Cuban Salsa series, and you don't need *ANY* previous dance experience! The curriculum starts completely from scratch in a beautiful NYC dance studio, with a comfortably sized group that allows our instructors to give everyone plenty of attention. And you absolutely do NOT need a partner—we rotate partners throughout the class, giving you the opportunity to practice with different people in a relaxed, friendly, and pressure-free environment. It's a fun way to learn the fundamentals while also getting comfortable with the social side of Salsa. ✨
🇨🇺 WHAT IS CUBAN SALSA? Cuban Salsa, also known as Casino, is energetic, playful, musical, and incredibly social. You'll learn partnerwork, turns, rhythm, footwork, and the distinctive movements that make Cuban-style Salsa so much fun. You'll also be introduced to Rueda de Casino—an exciting group dance where couples form a circle and constantly switch partners while following calls and executing fun patterns together. 💃🏼🕺🏼🔄 No experience. No partner. No pressure. Just come ready to have fun!
