Open Studio with Elena Lipkowski + Dolphin Brown
About the event
Visit the working studio of Austin artists Elena Lipkowski and Dolphin Brown for a free Second Saturday open studio experience. Located in Studio A4 at Art Hub ATX, this event invites Austin visitors, collectors, designers, and art lovers to step inside the artists’ shared studio, see new and available artwork in person, and talk directly with the artists about their work. Elena Lipkowski creates layered mixed-media artworks using digital collage, hand embroidery, beads, crystals, and lenticular and acrylic print processes. Dolphin Brown creates limited-edition video paintings and immersive moving-image works using source footage of water, light, and natural forms. This is an intimate opportunity to experience Austin’s contemporary art scene beyond a gallery setting. Guests can explore original artwork, learn about the artists’ materials and process, purchase work directly from Elena and Dolphin, or discuss commissions and artwork for a home, office, hospitality, or design project.
