About Coffee and Yap
It's a meetup for women in midlife (40+ yo) who still have room in their lives for new friendships, even though making friends as an adult can feel oddly harder than anyone warned us.
No agenda, no icebreaker games, just coffee and genuinely good conversation that goes wherever it wants to go.
Some weeks it's career talk, some weeks it's nothing in particular; either way, the point is showing up and talking to people who get it.
Coming alone is completely normal, and honestly one of the best ways to meet new people, especially if you're new to the city and still building your circle here.
Come as you are, and leave with someone new to text.
Our community
This event runs under the Childfree and Single Network, so yes, our group name kinda says "ladies." But this event is LGBTQ+ friendly through and through, and that very much includes gay, bi, and trans people. If you love books and good conversation, the group name shouldn't be what keeps you out.
