Join Joanne at the Museum of the American Revolution in Philly for an educational day. We'll start with a guided hour-long tour of the new Declarations exhibit, *Th**e Declaration’s Journey, ***presented by Griffin Catalyst, marks the 250th anniversary of our nation's founding by exploring the history and global impact of the Declaration of Independence from 1776 to today.
Afterwards, we'll have some free time to explore the museum's other exhibits on our own, then we'll reconvene for a boxed lunch (provided by Feast Your Eyes). While we eat, we'll hear a talk Revolutionary Women Writing About the War.
Cost is $62. This includes museum admission, guided tour of Declarations Exhibit, lunch including tax and delivery and the private talk about Revolutionary women authors.

The Book
Mercy Otis Warren was an American poet, playwright, political writer, and historian of the Revolutionary era. A self-educated daughter of a prominent Massachusetts family, she published satirical plays, political pamphlets—including Observations on the New Constitution under the pseudonym “A Columbian Patriot”—and one of the earliest histories of the Revolution, History of the Rise, Progress, and Termination of the American Revolution (1805), making her a pioneering female voice in early American politic.
Although we won't have a set time to talk about the book, it's an interesting read and we'll hear about this author during the talk.
