Worakls is performing at Westweide during Amsterdam Dance Event. The French producer and composer plays electronic music with classical influences: strings, arpeggios, and deep bass lines that combine to form a single cinematic sound. Worakls, the stage name of French musician Kevin Rodrigues, grew up with classical piano lessons from the age of three and completed a conservatory foundation. That background is reflected in his music. Strings, chord structures, and harmonic development play a central role. His tracks do not move towards a rapid climax but develop like a composition: with patience, space, and direction.
Electronic music with a cinematic atmosphere
Worakls combines melodic techno with orchestral elements. Arpeggios slowly build, basslines roll on, and the tension lies in the progression itself. That makes his sound recognizable: it sounds like a film score ending up in a club. No formulas, no shortcuts. His sets demand attention and reward it.
From club to orchestra
Alongside his club work, Worakls built up the Worakls Orchestra project. In this project, he reinterpreted his electronic arrangements for a full ensemble. In doing so, he showed that the boundary between club music and concert music is thinner than you might think. That dual world—studio, stage, and orchestra pit—forms the core of who he is as an artist.
