About This Event
Community Compassion Day is an opportunity to bring the spirit of compassion into tangible action. Together, we will bake Christmas cookies to share with local shelters, offering warmth and care to those who may need it most during the winter season. We will also build birdhouses filled with mantras, creating small offerings that combine care for the natural world with the intention to spread peace, compassion, and positive energy. These activities are simple but meaningful ways to express the values of the Bodhisattva path—kindness, generosity, and connection—within our local community. There will be space to work together, share conversation, and enjoy a sense of collective purpose.
What to Expect
• Baking cookies for shelters • Building birdhouses filled with mantras • A relaxed, friendly community atmosphere • An opportunity to express compassion through action
