2026 Moonflower Multicultural Heritage Festival
About the event
Inspired by the theme "Community Engagement Through Chinese Traditional Dance, Music, Folk Arts, and Heritage Education," the 2026 Moonflower Multicultural Heritage Festival brings cultural heritage to life through traditional dance and music, hands-on folk arts, cultural demonstrations, food, and educational experiences. More than a celebration of Chinese heritage, the festival creates a space for cross-cultural learning and community connection By bringing Chinese and Asian traditions together with African American and other cultural voices at the historic Carver Museum, the festival invites visitors to discover the stories, traditions, and experiences that shape our communities—and to celebrate the cultural diversity that is part of Austin's shared heritage.
