Sydney's Medically Supervised Injecting Centre (MSIC) in Kings Cross will celebrate the power of creativity, resilience and community at its 2026 Art From the Heart of the Cross exhibition. Every year we provide canvasses, paint, brushes and other materials for our service users to create with - then frame and display them & host a silent auction. 100% of the proceeds go to the artists. 2026 marks the program's sixteenth year and MSIC’s 25-year anniversary of operation as the first harm reduction facility of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. Held at the historic Paddington Town Hall from 16 to 19 October 2026, the exhibition will showcase original artworks created by MSIC service users, offering the public a rare and powerful insight into the lives, talent and humanity of some of Sydney's most marginalised people. A launch is also held on Saturday the 17th October at 2-4pm.
