Roger Corman’s Frankenstein Unbound

After a gap of nearly 15 years, Corman was lured back to the director’s chair, for the final time, for this wonderfully bonkers version of Brian Aldiss’ 1973 novel. In 2031, obsessed scientist Dr Buchanan is working on the ultimate weapon, but his experiment causes a tear in reality that sends him hurtling back to 1817, where he encounters Victor Frankenstein, Mary Shelley and the monster they created. 35mm print courtesy of the UCLA Film & Television Archive.
