Devoted Unto Thee: Cultivating a Relationship with the Gods of the Witches

Witchcraft is more than just spells and potions. It certainly encompasses these things, but to reduce Witchcraft to nothing more than this strips it of one of its greatest strengths: its relationship with the Gods. Over the next six classes, a small cohort of practitioners will be led through a series of workshops designed to help them build a working relationship with the Gods. Each class combines discussion and hands-on ritual and take-home assignments to help each participant connect even more deeply with the subject matter. You will get out of this workshop exactly what you put into it, so come ready to participate! Witches of all skill levels are welcome to attend, but please note that each class will build upon the last and you cannot join once the course has begun.
Long Live the Gods: First Steps in Devotional Witchcraft In the first of this six part series, we'll explore the differences between devotional witchcraft and operative magic. While spellcraft can certainly produce meaningful results on its own, cultivating a healthy, devotional relationship with the gods can bring greater depth and purpose to your practice. Together, we'll examine what it means to walk a path dedicated to and in service to the Gods, how devotion differs from worship, and why many Witches choose to build lasting relationships with the gods as a part of their magical journey.
