Unleash your inner Stand up Comic course

Are you looking for a uniquely Sydney CBD experience that goes way beyond the usual coffee tours, graffiti laneways, and sporting matches? Whether you are visiting Sydney for a holiday, attending a bustling convention, traveling solo around Australia, or simply a local looking for something completely different to do on the weekend, the Las Vegas International School of Stand-Up Comedy offers a high-energy, beginner-friendly introduction to the thrilling world of stand-up comedy: the Open Mic Comedy Prep Course. The best part? It comes complete with the rare opportunity to perform a 3-minute set in a real live comedy show. Conveniently located right in the heart of the Sydney's CBD, just a short block from Town Hall or Central Station, this fast-paced, immersive workshop is custom-built for complete beginners, bucket-list adventurers, aspiring performers, and anyone who has ever watched a comedian kill on stage and thought, "I wonder if I could actually do that?" The cold truth of the entertainment industry is that most people who try stand-up comedy for the very first time walk onto a stage completely unprepared. They wing it, they freeze up, or they accidentally alienate the crowd, which is exactly why so many first-time performers struggle and never give it another shot. At the Las Vegas International School of Stand-Up Comedy, we believe that great, crowd-pleasing performances come from meticulous preparation – not just dumb luck. Boasting over 50 years of combined professional stage experience spanning across both Australia and the United States, and with a proud track record of more than 1,600 students trained nationwide since 2010, we have developed a practical, incredibly entertaining, and deeply insightful curriculum. Our mission is to take your natural sense of humor, strip away the stage fright, and hand you the exact tools you need to feel entirely confident, structured, and stage-ready in a matter of hours.
