Saint Omer
About the event
Rama, a pregnant Parisian novelist and professor, attends the trial of Laurence Coly, a Senegalese immigrant accused of murdering her 15-month-old daughter by leaving her to drown on a beach. The debut narrative feature by documentary filmmaker Alice Diop, Saint Omer is a stunning examination of motherhood, interraciality and national identity. Screen: NFT3.
