Event Details: Spend the holiday afternoon playing padel with Tokyo Expat Social Club at Padel Tokyo Mizumachi. We have three courts reserved for two full hours, giving us plenty of space to rotate teams, mix up opponents, and keep everyone playing throughout the session.
Padel is easy to get into even if you’ve never played before. It combines elements of tennis and squash, but the smaller court and walls make rallies easier to build and the game naturally quite social. We’ll keep the atmosphere casual rather than highly competitive. Some people will be joining for the first time, others have played at previous TESC padel events, and more experienced players are welcome too.
You don’t need to bring a partner or already know anyone. We’ll organize the rotations on the day so you’ll have chances to play with different people throughout the afternoon. The courts at Tokyo Mizumachi sit close to the Sumida River and Tokyo Skytree, making it a fun place to spend part of the holiday outdoors.
