Imperial Speed

The Imperial Carriage Museum houses an object that is as extraordinary as it is ultra-modern: the “art car” designed in 2014 by the artist collective Sabina Lang and Daniel Baumann for racing driver Ferdinand Habsburg. With his first artistically designed racing car (Formula Renault 1.6), the son of Karl and Francesca Habsburg is following in the footsteps of his illustrious ancestors, who also enjoyed driving fast cars and whose magnificent vehicles on display in the Carriage Museum were always designed by outstanding artists.
