Grachtenfestival: Jelmer de Moed en Pieter de Koe

Clarinetist Jelmer de Moed and cellist Pieter de Koe perform a program featuring contemporary composers, early twentieth-century lyric poetry, and classical structure. The concert takes place at Molen de Otter during the Grachtenfestival Amsterdam. Clarinet and cello in dialogue Jelmer de Moed and Pieter de Koe present a program in which clarinet and cello come together in various styles. With works by Guillaume Connesson , Rebecca Clarke , and Ludwig van Beethoven, an alternation emerges between contemporary sound, early twentieth-century lyricism, and classical structure. Two musicians with a broad repertoire Cellist Pieter de Koe is a co-founder of the Animato Quartet and is active as a chamber musician and creator of interdisciplinary projects. Clarinetist Jelmer de Moed studied in Amsterdam and Berlin, was a finalist of the Dutch Classical Talent Award, and was nominated for the GrachtenfestivalPrijs. Both regularly perform on stages at home and abroad.
