About the event

The 2026 IG Wealth Management National Championships Presented by Hearing Life is Pickleball Canada’s premier national championship event, bringing together the country’s top amateur pickleball athletes to compete for Canadian titles across singles, doubles, mixed doubles, and the Provincial Team Competition. Taking place from August 24–30, 2026, at Pickleplex Social Club’s Downsview and Vaughan facilities in the Greater Toronto Area, the event is expected to welcome approximately 1,000 athletes, along with coaches, officials, volunteers, family members, and spectators from across Canada. The Championships serve as the pinnacle event of the Canadian pickleball calendar and showcase the continued growth of one of the country's fastest-growing sports. The week-long event will feature over 3,500 matches across multiple age and skill divisions, including Juniors, 19+, 35+, 50+, 65+, 70+, 75+ age categories, with skill levels ranging from 3.0 to 5.0+. Athletes will compete in men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles events, providing opportunities for players of all competitive levels to participate on Canada's largest pickleball stage.
