Amsterdam - 10 jaar in art prints

I would like to inform you about the exhibition 'Amsterdam in Digital Prints' by artist Hilly van Eerten. It is taking place in the street display cases on Sint Anthoniesbreestraat until the end of August 2026. The organizer is the Art and Culture Centre Foundation. The art prints depict recognizable places in Amsterdam. See: https://kunstencultuurcentrum.nl/ info@kunstencultuurcentrum.nl Hilly van Eerten always uses her own photos of the city Amsterdam she loves so much when making her art prints. These photos are only intended as basic material for making her art prints. They are digitally placed on top of each other in 2 or 3 layers and then edited, cut, slid and cropped. She usually likes to use the geometric structures of modern architecture, which is why she also photographs them. In the past ten years, a series of c. 25 digital city prints of Amsterdam have been created in which there is plenty to discover and recognize. Hilly van Eerten herself says about her art "My prints give a mix of life in Amsterdam city today - the people in a mix with the architecture in the city, public transport, the streets, traffic, modern buildings, etc..”
