Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada has a brand-new exhibit inspired by Toronto’s creative spirit. Graffiti Reef: Painted by Nature is a first-of-its-kind experience that blends the city’s street art culture with the vibrant world of coral reefs. Featuring colourful aquatic species new to the aquarium, large-scale murals by local artists, and multi-sensory activations throughout the space, it offers an immersive experience for visitors of all ages. Highlights include: • Vibrant reef species and tropical marine life, including Parrotfish, Rhinopias, and Ornate Cowfish • Large-scale murals by Toronto street artists Nick Sweetman, Jieun Kim, and Moises Frank, inspired by the colours, shapes and distinct patterns of the coral reef ecosystems • Interactive activations, including touchscreen and projected elements, throughout the exhibit • Insights into coral reef conservation Whether you’re visiting for the art, marine life, or to learn more about reef conservation, Graffiti Reef offers a colourful new world to explore, and a fresh reason to visit the aquarium.
