We Sew Austin Daytime Meetup

At this round-table style meetup, we will share our recent sewing projects, brag about new techniques learned, and lament about challenges faced. If you are new to sewing, there will be plenty of support from us. Our group primarily enjoys garment sewing, but all fiber arts are welcome. Unlike the other meetups, this one is intentionally scheduled during the day to accommodate retired people and those with a more flexible day schedule. We typically meet the second Wednesdays of the month at 1:30pm. If you would like to share your makes with the group, feel free to bring your project, pattern(s) used, or new favorite sewing tool - anything project-related is fair game. Add a comment in the invite if you'd like to give a demo or request one. All levels of sewing knowledge are welcomed. More than anything, this is an opportunity to socialize and enjoy sewing related chat without the risk of an acquaintance asking you to hem their pants!;)
