Kaleidoscope: New Works by Five Toronto Artists

Five Artists. Five Journeys. One Ever-Shifting View. Kaleidoscopes have enchanted curious eyes for generations — turning ordinary light into shifting colour and form, and the ordinary into something new. This exhibition brings together five artists who share that same instinct: to look closely, take something apart, and put it back together differently. See it for yourself at Leslie Grove Gallery. Carmine Scioscia weaves mirrored and duplicated motifs with bright, playful references to the mundane, mythical, and spiritual. Maryna Gorelik's neighbourhood and travel scenes are built around reflections in water, making familiar places feel less familiar. Vuk Pavlovic breaks landscapes into geometric structures, focused on the layers of time within them. Dina Scioscia's artistic journey includes mixed media, ceramics, bas-relief, and photography, discovering beauty in the unexpected. Lou Thompson paints what catches her eye — landscapes and still life — celebrating the colour, light, and quiet beauty of everyday life. Kaleidoscope runs from July 22 to August 2, 2026.
