Twenty-five years on from the events of 11 September 2001, IWM Reflections: 9/11 offers a space to come together, to remember, and to consider the lasting impact of that day. Bringing together voices from journalism, international relations, community, faith leadership, and lived experience, this event creates a thoughtful and carefully facilitated environment for reflection. IWM Reflections: 9/11 is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting public understanding of conflict and its impact on real people. Hosted by Dr Sian Williams, the event will feature a series of conversations with invited contributors, each sharing their own personal stories of 9/11 and its lasting impact on their lives. The audience will then be offered the opportunity to continue the conversation at informal, facilitated discussion tables, supported by IWM staff. Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. Participation in these conversations is entirely optional, and IWM staff will be on hand to help guide and support discussions. This event is not recommended for children under the age of 14; however, the English Chamber Orchestra performance in the Atrium is suitable for all ages. Everyone Free event
