De Ultimate Selfie

NDSM Fuse presents a new NDSM XPO about identity, connection, and being together. With The Ultimate Selfie, the Selfie of the Soul series finds a beautiful conclusion. This group exhibition features 14 artists who have previously shown their own work. Now they share their most personal work: their ultimate selfie. What: In drawings, paintings, installations, films, photography, spatial work, and performances, the artists reveal themselves in a way that is sometimes surprising or revealing even to themselves. The work stems from personal fascinations, exploration of color, form, and balance, inner experiences, societal issues, and significant life transitions. The result is 14 diverse Selfies that together provide a picture of who we are and how we relate to others. Join in: The exhibition also invites visitors to participate. Various interactive works pose questions such as: what makes us unique, how do we relate to others, and what do we have in common? In doing so, The Ultimate Selfie becomes an exhibition where personal stories converge and new connections can be formed. Participating artists Nanny Kok, Esther Kin, Balthasar Prinsen, Tiago Sá da Costa, Merel Hegenbart, Lies Aris, DH Mack, Allard Boterenbrood, Finn Moedt, Maria Escarpenter, Ossa Kierkegaard, Neyde Lantyer, Aron Vellekoop León and Rinzo.
