MOAD Moves with Romina Carpio

Morning yoga in the Knight Skylight Gallery offers a quiet way to move, breathe and take in the historic setting of Freedom Tower Miami. The class takes place Saturday, August 8, led by Miami-based yoga instructor Romina Carpio as part of MOAD Moves at the Museum of Art and Design at MDC. Admission includes access to the Freedom Tower exhibitions and galleries following the session. Carpio began practicing yoga in 2017 and later completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in Orlando. Her teaching centers on vinyasa and gentle flows, with attention to creative transitions, strength, stability and alignment. The class is open to both beginners and more experienced practitioners. Participants should bring their own yoga mat, as mats will not be available onsite. Free parking is available in the MDC garage at 500 NE Second Avenue, between NE Fifth and NE Sixth Streets.
