It is also the spiritual successor to her first, Your Best American Girl, which premiered at the 2019 San Diego Fringe Festival and was awarded Best World Premiere, Best of Fest, and Critic’s Pick. Off the Beat Productions, co-founded by Sofia Zaragoza and Alara Koroglu, is dedicated to producing thought-provoking and socially relevant theatre that amplifies diverse voices within working-class communities.
