Life drawing in the Salon: Inspired by Degas

Take inspiration from Degas’s intimate studies of the figure in this two-hour life drawing workshop using soft pastels. Working from a live model whose floor-length hair and pregnancy offer a powerful contemporary subject, you’ll explore poses inspired by Degas’s ‘Combing the Hair’ and ‘After the Bath’. Guided by artist Bella Franks, experiment with movement, texture and form in a relaxed, supportive setting. You will receive expert tips and demonstrations throughout the class to help you develop skills and build confidence in drawing.
