Grachtenfestival: Organ and Trombone

Jeroen Koopman, resident organist of the Mennonite Singelkerk in Amsterdam, plays at the Orgelpark together with trombonist Wilco Kamminga. A beautiful combination of instruments The combination of instruments might seem far-fetched, but it is anything but: the trombone is actually a kind of mini-organ with only one pipe, and one that can extend at that. The program includes beautiful vocal arrangements by Bach, among others, but also features Spiegel im Spiegel by Arvo Pärt. In addition, adventurous and rarely performed works will be heard, such as Morceaux Symphonique by Guilmant.
