August in Lisbon is a particular kind of full: heat, light, and a city that never quite slows down. This workshop is a deliberate pause inside that fullness. No artistic experience is needed. You'll receive a white hand fan, and through a sequence of mindful prompts and simple color mark-making, you'll paint what this season feels like from the inside. What needs to cool. What wants to open. We begin with a short grounding practice to settle the nervous system and arrive in the body. Then we work. Slowly, quietly, with music and with the particular quality of attention that comes when the hands are doing something simple and the mind is invited to let go. You'll leave with a hand-painted fan you made yourself, something functional, personal, and genuinely yours. Facilitated by Aida, a clinical psychologist trained in art therapy.
