A choice of tours and talks is available daily, and themes change regularly. With your Annual Pass, you can visit as often as your like throughout the year, so keep an eye on these page to find out when new tours and talks are added. Whether you are interested in an in-depth tour around our galleries or a short focused talk, join us for a journey through time and innovation. Free with your Museum admission. When: Monday to Sunday, multiple times throughout the day. Duration: Tours last 30 minute, talks last 15 minutes. Where: All tours and talks start from information desk – Level 1 Ages: 12 and above Tours and talks are subject to availability and their content may change. Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum 10 visitors per tour or talk. Advance booking is not available. To confirm running times, contact our team. Step into Theatreland to explore its history, where performance and transport come together. Travel through the rise of theatre, music and culture in London during the 1920s and 1930s. When: Wednesdays, 13:05 Marking more than 25 years of Transport for London, this is a tour of the Museum’s temporary exhibition Then and now: London’s transport in photographs. Explore the city’s transport system and the lives of Londoners through the juxtaposition of historical photographs and the work of contemporary photographer and tube driver Anne Maningas. When: Wednesdays, 16:05 Marking more than 200 years of the modern railway, journey back in time to the origins of the modern railway on this tour of the 19th century London and Victorian transport. Explore the transformative power of rail travel and learn about its impact on industry, cities and everyday life, laying the tracks for the modern world.
