In 2026, the Dutch Theatre Festival will return with 11 days in 11 theatres across town. The most beautiful performances of the season will be shown again. It is specially selected for you by seven professional juries in the Netherlands and Flanders. Theatre, cabaret, youth theatre, mime, performance, new makers and more, such as NTF, the Talkshow and the Late Night Bar. Please note: The dates and times mentioned for 2026 are subject to change and may still be modified. Top performances throughout the city The most beautiful theatre productions can be seen again at various locations throughout the city. The top performances of the theatre season can be seen at the International Theatre Amsterdam , T heatre Bellevue, Theatre De Krakeling , De Meervaart, and Bijlmer Parktheater, among others. LNP performances There are seven language-no-problem performances during the festival. Check the link for the information if you want to know which ones. NTF the Talkshow On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, you can go to NTF the Talkshow for free in the Salon of ITA. It features guests, makers, and performances. The talk show starts an hour before the performance and lasts about 45 minutes. Late Night Bar Are you not tired yet? Fancy a theatre/performance encore? Come to the Late Night Bar in Theater Bellevue on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening (free admission). Enjoy performances, have a drink, and do a little dance. At the same time, the Amsterdam Fringe Festival will also take place with an adventurous (inter)national theatre programme.
