Religious Studies: Immortality

Doors: 6:30 pm Event starts: 7:00 pm Join us to learn from Dr. Peter Hutcheson, professor of philosophy at Texas State, and Jake Via, Organizing Director for the American Humanist Association. Dr. Hutcheson will be speaking on immortality and the arguments for and against the afterlife. Jake will be speaking on the importance of community building within the secular space. Starting at 7 pm, Dr. Hutcheson will give a short talk followed by Q&A. At 8 pm, Jake will give a short talk followed by Q&A. This will be a conversation you don't want to miss!
