About the event

The Czech Philharmonic, led by Semyon Bychkov, visits the Baltic Sea Festival for two evenings of passion and intensity. In the first concert, violinist Janine Jansen performs Shostakovich’s First Violin Concerto, where introspection meets quiet protest. The programme concludes with Dvořák’s Seventh Symphony—one of his most dramatic works, shaped by national identity and emotional depth.
