PALAIS FREILUFT

“PALAIS FREILUFT” is set to launch in the summer of 2026 as a multi-month open-air event in the gardens of the Palais Auersperg, combining contemporary art, culinary delights, and a diverse program of activities under the open sky. From June 3 to early September 2026, the historic green space in Vienna’s 8th district will become a publicly accessible gathering place for culture, dining, and leisure activities. In addition to the “FREILUFT Sculpture & Art Garden” featuring works by contemporary artists, the event will focus primarily on a deliberately broad program. Artist talks, yoga and Pilates sessions, art workshops, salsa classes, daytime parties, pop-up markets, tastings, World Cup soccer broadcasts, and regular community events are designed to attract diverse audiences to the palace garden.
